Terms and Conditions - Permission to Grieve, All Courses/Programmes
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your participation in the courses offered by Sarai Lewis and co-collaborators/third parties. By enrolling and participating in the Course, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Personal Experience and Mentorship: The Instructor acknowledges that the information shared during the Course is based on personal experience and mentorship and is not intended to replace or substitute for professional counselling, therapy, or medical advice. The Instructor is not a qualified counsellor or therapist.
2. Complementary Modalities: The techniques, tools, and information shared in the Course are intended to be complementary modalities and should not be considered as a substitute for professional medical or mental health treatment. Participants are advised to consult their healthcare providers before implementing any techniques discussed in the Course to ensure their suitability for individual circumstances.
3. Assumption of Risk: Participants understand and accept that engaging in the techniques and tools discussed in the Course may involve certain risks. By enrolling in the Course, participants assume full responsibility for any physical or emotional consequences that may arise from their participation.
4. No Guarantee of Outcomes: The Instructor does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from participating in the Course. Grief and healing are deeply personal experiences, and the effectiveness of the techniques may vary for each individual.
5. Release of Liability: Participants release the Instructor and any third party from any liability, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to their participation in the Course.
6. Confidentiality: Participants agree to maintain the confidentiality of any personal experiences shared by other participants during the Course. Respect for privacy and a safe space for sharing are important aspects of the learning environment.
7. Copyright and Intellectual Property: All materials provided as part of the Course, including videos, documents, and any other content, are the copyrighted property of the Instructor. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share any materials without explicit written consent from the Instructor.
8. Termination of Participation: The Instructor reserves the right to terminate a participant's enrollment in the Course if the participant violates these terms and conditions or engages in disruptive behaviour that affects the learning environment.
9. Modification of Terms: The Instructor may modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the Course after the modifications constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
